"As we gather together for good fellowship, good food and good humor, let us pause each in our own way and remember that:

 

We have much while many have little,

We have health, while many are sick,

We have family and friends while many are alone,

We dine while many go hungry,

We share laughter, while many are sad,

We will return to homes, many are homeless,

We live in peace and freedom while many in the world do not.

 

Let us be grateful for the food we are about to eat and the company we share."
